Calculator inputs

The calculator code runs in your browser. This version does not send entered yarn measurements to an application server. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in measurements or downloaded plans.

Saving and clearing a plan

Clicking “Save on device” stores numeric inputs and a palette choice in this browser’s local storage. Returning to the same tool restores that plan. Each tool’s “Clear saved plan & reset” button removes its saved entry. You can also clear this site’s storage in your browser settings. Plans do not sync between devices.

Shared and downloaded plans

“Copy plan link” puts measurements in a URL fragment, the portion after #. Browsers do not send that fragment in the normal HTTP request, but anyone you give the link to can read the measurements. Browser extensions and browsing history may also have access to URLs. Text downloads remain wherever you save or share them.

Hosting requests

The site is intended to be hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Hosting necessarily processes connection information such as IP address and request headers to deliver pages and maintain security. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its handling of personal information.

Advertising and analytics

This version does not include third-party advertising or analytics scripts. If advertising or additional analytics is introduced, this notice and any required consent controls must be updated before those services start collecting data.
